Limited resource usage
Most of the wire materials are imported. This situation has something to do with our industry which manufactures die and mold.
“Wire electrode” used for making die and mold is made of mainly copper and zinc. However, the costs of copper and zinc fluctuate depending on LME(London Metal Exchange.)
Moreover, the copper is considered to disappear in approximately 25 years, unless a new deposit is found.
This wire re-cycling system works to preserve the wire in Japan by collecting customers used wire and re-produce it into new wire. |
